DR P.N. JOHNNY DANG
B.D.S.(Syd Uni)
Dr. Dang completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Sydney and is a proud member of the Australian Dental Association. With years of experience across a variety of dental practices in Sydney, Dr. Dang has found his home at Canterbury Dental Centre in Campsie, where he's become known for his gentle manner, attention to detail, and deep care for his patients.
Committed to providing the highest standard of care, Dr. Dang continuously undertakes further training and education, regularly attending seminars and courses across a range of dental fields. He has a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Orthopaedics, and is passionate about helping each of his patients feel confident in their smile.
Dr. Dang takes the time to explain every step of treatment in a way that's easy to understand, ensuring his patients feel comfortable, informed, and empowered. He has completed an extensive orthodontic program that focuses on using both fixed and removable expansion appliances to widen the jaw-avoiding extractions whenever possible. This approach not only improves the look of the smile but also supports better long-term function and overall oral health.

DR ALAN TRINH, DENTIST
B.D.S. (Syd Uni), Clinical Associate (Dept Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Syd Uni), Grad. Dip. Clinical Dent. (Oral Implants, USYD)
Dr Trinh graduated from Sydney University in 2001 and has travelled and worked right across NSW, working both in rural and regional centres. He also spent some time with the Royal Flying Doctors in Broken Hill. Alan is passionate about the role dental implants can play in restoring missing teeth and restoring both smiles and the ability to bite. Dr Trinh holds a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry from the University of Sydney.
He has previously held associate Lecturer and Clinical Associate titles with the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Sydney University. He was extensively involved with the teaching of Sydney University graduates in the discipline of Oral Surgery. However, Dr Trinh believes in perfecting all facets of his dentistry and extensively attends both local and international courses learning from industry leaders and is a member of the Australian Dental Association, Australasian Osseointegration Society, Australian Prosthodontic Society, Australian Society of Periodontology and International Team for Implantology.

DR JONATHAN TRAN,
B. HSCI/M. DENT (LA TROBE)
Dr Tran grew up in the suburbs of Western Sydney, but has been all across Victoria to complete his Master of Dentistry at La Trobe University. Initially working in Northern Regional NSW, he is now closer to home and serving his community.
He is excited to meet you and work together to ensure that you receive quality dental care. Dr Tran enjoys helping patients who want to be more confident with their teeth and those who are anxious about dental care. He is a firm believer in oral education and minimally invasive treatment before your dental problems become stressful.
Dr Tran has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, and has undertaken further education regarding dental implants and clear aligner treatment.
If he is not here at Canterbury Dental, you'll find him going out for a run, playing games, or catching up with friends.
Tracey Hewitt, Practice Manager
With a background in nursing and years of experience running her own hospitality businesses, Tracey brings both professional insight and genuine warmth to her role as Practice Manager. She is passionate about creating a welcoming, family-friendly environment where every patient feels genuinely cared for and supported. Tracey’s warm, people-focused approach ensures that each visit is a positive experience, reflecting her dedication to both patient wellbeing and the smooth, friendly operation of the practice.

CHERYL LIM, ORAL HEALTH THERAPIST

Cheryl is a warm, approachable, and highly skilled Oral Health Therapist who excels in caring for both children and adults. With her gentle touch and friendly demeanor, she creates a calm, positive experience-whether she's helping little ones feel at ease during their first dental visit or working with adults to develop personalized oral care plans. Passionate about preventive care and patient education, Cheryl is dedicated to helping families achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles for life. Known for building trust with even the most anxious patients, Cheryl combines clinical expertise with genuine compassion to deliver outstanding care every step of the way.

DOHHA GHABCHA, ORAL HEALTH THERAPIST
Dohha is a kind and caring Oral Health Therapist who is passionate about helping her patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. With a gentle and friendly approach, she makes every visit a positive experience-especially for those who may feel nervous about dental care. Dohha has completed advanced training in Myofunctional Therapy, giving her the tools to support patients with issues like tongue posture, breathing habits, and other early signs that can affect oral development and overall well-being. She takes a holistic, thoughtful approach to care, working closely with each patient to build healthy habits that last a lifetime. Whether she's caring for little ones or guiding adults through their oral health journey, Dohha brings warmth, expertise, and genuine compassion to everything she does.

GIAN MORO, PROSTHETIST
Gian is a highly skilled prosthetist known for his exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. Gian's passion for his work is reflected in every custom-fit piece he designs, combining advanced techniques with a compassionate approach to care.
